Owner Toby May is no stranger to real estate or owning his own business. He has had an interest in real estate since a young age and flipped houses just out of high school. After he and his wife moved to Des Moines in the Mid 90’s, Toby owned and operated three Dollar Stores. Wanting to pursue his real estate dreams once again, Toby sold his stores and joined one of the country’s largest mortgage companies working for several years in their REO (Real Estate Owned) department flipping houses on a larger scale, which brought him to investigating the home inspection industry as his next professional move.
“With the market trends bouncing back over the last few years, it was a perfect time to look for opportunities to be my own boss in an industry I love. Once I settled on home inspections I made an extensive search for the most successful leader in this area. It wasn’t long after I found HomeTeam Inspection Service that I knew I found the golden ticket” Toby stated.
