New owner, Jeff Oetken, has a background in wholesale food distribution. He’s also worked in sales leadership and management, developing businesses with revenues between $120-850 million. Originally from LeMars, Iowa Jeff, and his wife have recently made the move to Conroe, Texas in order to be closer to their daughter and granddaughter.
Throughout his career, Jeff has also spent time in marketing and customer service. He enjoys developing people, building businesses and leading change. He’s bought, sold and maintained all of his houses in the past and enjoys the home improvement process. Jeff’s experience and skillset make him an ideal fit to own a HomeTeam franchise.
When asked what factors drove Jeff to choose HomeTeam he stated, “Their almost 30-year track record and excellent business model.” He was impressed by the support HomeTeam provides, where it will be especially needed in Texas due to the state’s high barrier to entry. However, Texas has a large amount of real estate transactions, creating a great opportunity for home inspections.
Jeff enjoys hunting, boating, playing golf, and of course spending time with family and friends. He likes to travel and has lived in numerous places throughout his career.
